Child & Phase I Treatment
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first check-up by age 7. At that age, Dr. Yue can spot problems early, including crowding, crossbites, and habits like thumb-sucking. Your child's jaw is still growing, so it's easier to guide it into place. Not every child needs early treatment, but knowing early gives you more options later.
Adolescent Treatment
The teen years are one of the best times for orthodontic treatment. Most permanent teeth are in, and there's still enough jaw growth to work with. Dr. Yue offers self-ligating metal braces, nearly invisible lingual braces, and clear aligners. He'll help your teen find the option that fits their smile and their life.
Adult Orthodontic Treatment
It's never too late to straighten your teeth. Dr. Yue has helped adults from their twenties into their eighties, using discreet options built for busy lives: ceramic braces, lingual braces, Invisalign, SPARK, and other clear aligner systems. What matters is healthy gums and bone, not your age.
Complex Orthodontics
Some bite and jaw concerns need more than braces or aligners alone. Dr. Yue has special training in craniofacial care, the bones and structure of the face and jaw. For more complex cases, he coordinates advanced care, including the Herbst and MARA appliances (devices that guide jaw growth) and surgery planning with trusted oral surgeons.
Types of Braces
Metal or ceramic, traditional or self-ligating: the right braces depend on your goals, your bite, and how visible you want treatment to be. Dr. Yue will walk you through your options at a free consultation, so you can choose with confidence.
Aligner Systems
Invisalign, SPARK, Angel Aligners, and Oliv Aligners each take a slightly different approach to straightening teeth with clear, removable trays. Dr. Yue will help you compare them based on your case, your schedule, and how involved you want to be in treatment.
